We are currently running the Full Cloned VM as the production server and the Original VM is shut offįrom reading, everyone seems to say there is a snapshot somewhere that's not allowing it to expand. I upgraded this according to VMware KB's (upgraded vm tools, then compatibility, it's currently version 13 and running) to allow the server hard drive to be expanded to more than 2TB. One of our servers was out of storage so I created a Full clone of it. The reason being, the VM was originally on vm version 7 (max hard drive size of 2TB).
